StarChapter provides a proprietary service for local and national professional associations. The service includes website content management, membership management, meeting settings, and email communication capabilities. My role included gathering requirements from new customers using Join.me, content migration, and project management.
While there was a standard and suggested navigation for new websites. Often, I talked customers through their preferred navigation by asking questions about their user base.
Another major initiative I worked on was the new knowledgebase for customers. The search navigation was hard-coded for the time being, so the project had a deeper focus on navigation.
My first major project was overhauling the knowledgebase, which previously was hosted in the ticketing system. The StarChapter CMS was customized with a new layout, design, and organization of content.
Part of the role at StarChapter was gathering new requirements from customer for website migration projects. I then setup and execute content migrations, rework design requirements, and handle data imports.

Our group got to work with local non-profit Hosts for Humanity to build a new booking process. Based on research, our group prototyped a mid-fielity mobile site experience, and I was the lead on creating the asset in Axure.

A university wanted deeper insights about improving the overall admissions experience for potential students. Using contextual inquiry methods, the group I worked with pinpointed pain points and suggested potential solutions.

Provided a bi-weekly online training about managing responsive web content and generating emails in StarChapter. Updated HTML, CSS, and PHP code as needed to meet the customer's design requirements. I interviewed more than 300 job applicants for positions in design, copywriting, marketing, project management, art direction, UX design, and account management.
My goal in pursuing a Master's degree in IDIA at The University of Baltimore is to research accessbility for voice and gestural based devices. Part of this research is becoming technically proficient in programming interfaces.
